As a 41-year-old San Jose woman went from her home to her car on Monday night, two pitbulls attacked her. She sustained "major," but not life-threatening, injuries. A neighbor who witnessed the canine assault reportedly "threw stones at the dogs to try to prevent the attack." The dogs have not been captured. (That said, a friendly reminder: your "nice" dog always stands the chance of attacking a child or another person, provoked or not. Yes, they do. Yes. They do. Now, that doesn't mean your pooch is bad; that means he or she is a dog. Please keep that in mind next time you're walking your precious sidewalk pooping machine. You're welcome.)
