Early this morning at around 1:30 a.m., a woman was dragged to her death near 1725 Cavallo Road in Antioch. "The woman has sustained significant wounds, and was transported to a local hospital, where she succumbed to those injuries," notes BCN (via KTVU). "According to police, the woman was heard arguing with someone in the parking lot at that address just before she was dragged an estimated 75 feet by the vehicle."

The suspect(s), last seen driving a "late model silver four-door Nissan Frontier pickup truck with a luggage rack atop the cab," was last spotted feeling from the scene northbound on Cavallo Road.

The death is being investigated as a homicide.
