So what happened in City Hall this afternoon? Do we have a Mayor yet?

The answer to that question is: No, thanks to a motion from Supervisor Maxwell, seconded by Bevan Dufty, which pushed the selection process to next week's meeting on December 14th. The motion passed 9 votes to 2, with John Avalos and Chris Daly being the "Nays" there. We unfortunately didn't get any of interesting quotes from Daly, but he did argue that the board is "borrowing time against the next administration in San Francisco."

Board President David Chiu will thankfully be able to attend his Pizza Party.
