Today we get news from The Examiner that the Giants have signed a new 1-year, $1 million deal with outfielder Pat Burrell, who still technically remains a free agent. Perhaps the wacky roommate of Brian Wilson has his well publicized (though "anonymous") turn as The Machine to thank for the new contract. In related news, we're still crossing our fingers that Wilson will get invited to host SNL during the off-season.
