The holidays are fast approaching! Along with Macy's big Holiday Adoption Window Display unveiling happening this afternoon, Embarcadero Center is having their 24th Annual Winter Carnival and Holiday Building Lighting Ceremony tonight.
The carnival will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. at One, Two, Three and Four Embarcadero Center, featuring carnival games, cookie decorating, crafts, face painting, pony rides, and a children’s petting zoo. Performers from the Dickens Fair will be putting on a show, along with an organ grinder and his adorable monkey, holiday carolers, and characters including Frostie the Snowman, Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, and more.
The Holiday Building Lighting Ceremony kicks off at 6 p.m. with live performances by the dance group Tremors, followed by Disney on Ice. For the grand finale, Captain Chesley B. “Sully” Sullenberger will lead the countdown to the big moment of the official lighting of One, Two, Three and Four Embarcadero Center, followed by a fabulous fireworks display.
