On Sunday afternoon, according to the Examiner, "a person in the park flagged down an officer midday Sunday because of an arm found near the Polo Field." The body of an unidentified male body was also found in the park, possibly related to the arm. (Yikes.) The San Francisco Medical Examiner's Office explained to SF Weekly that "this was a 'decomp case' -- as in 'decomposition.'" (Ack.) SFPD have yet to reveal any further (and presumably gruesome) details about the severed arm. (Shudder.) [via SFAppeal]
