Union Square / Stabbing: A man was stabbed and seriously wounded by a 20-year-old Hispanic assailant on Stockton Street yesterday, following the jubilations of the city after the Giants' victory parade. Car Crash / East Oakland: Two people were killed after a car fleeing from CHP officers around 2 a.m. this morning crashed into another. The chase began when officers spotted a 1988 BMW speeding on 580 and tried to pull the car over. The 19-year-old driver of the BMW exited at Foothill/MacArthur Blvd, and crashed into an SUV near 106th Avenue. Both drivers were alone in their cars, and both were killed. [Tribune]
