The bomb squad arrived at Market and Front this morning after a "suspicious package" was found. We'll update as soon as we hear more. And, if we may add another dash of alarmist news to your Friday, this comes on the heels of suspicious packages found throughout the world this morning.

Update I: The blocks around Market & First are bring evacuated. Some worker bees are being forced to stay inside.

Update II: KRON 4 reports, "Authorities have now removed a suspicious package from the San Francisco Financial District which had prompted the closure of Market and Battery Streets." The package, found in front of Jamba Juice, was taken away for investigation by the bomb squad. "Things are now returning to normal in the area."
