Katherine Dunbar, the previously reported vandal-about-town known as KKKatie, was convicted of 11 charges related to her mediocre rattle-can jobs on San Francisco landmarks such as Grace Cathedral and Bill Graham Civic Auditorium. For treating the city with all the respect of a middle-schooler's Jansport, Dunbar received one "vandalism-related felony and 10 misdemeanors," according to Bay City News, reporting on the Appeal.
The jury couldn't decide whether to convict her of felony terrorism and a witness to the racially-charged incidents at Bay to Breakers failed to show at the trial, so felony charges of dissuading a witness were dismissed. Her sentencing will land her something between probation and three years in prison and hopefully a gentle, state-appointed therapist.
