During last night's Game 1 of the World Series, second baseman Freddy Sanchez stole the show after becoming the first player ever to hit a double in each of his first three Series at-bats. One of his hits also put put the Giants ahead in the fifth inning.
Sanchez finished the season with a .292 batting average and 42 RBI. Also, before his performance of a lifetime, he sang a duet wit The Tonight Show's Ross Mathews.
The Giants beat the Rangers 11-7.
