Last night a San Francisco Police patrol car ran into a utility pole near that messy intersection at San Jose Avenue and Randall street between Upper Noe and Bernal Heights. Taking out the utility pole disrupted service on the J-Church and the two officers, who were heading back to the Ingleside Police Station, were both taken to the hospital to be treated for "non-life threatening injuries," according to the Examiner.

So far there's no info to suggest alcohol was involved, but the crash is still under investigation.
