You see, Thomas, a three-legged cat in the Noe Valley/Glen Park area, went missing recently, and you need to help find him. Selling point: Thomas only has three legs, so he needs extra special tender belly-kissing, head-scratching, Pounce-giving love. To the Craigslist ad:

We are still missing our three legged cat, Thomas. His back left leg is missing, he is black and white, nervous, but very friendly, and full of love. We are missing him a lot!!!!!
He is gone since September 17, 2010. Various people in our neighborhood told me already that they have seen him, so I'm sure that he is alive.

We live between Glen Park and Noe Valley.
