Famous '50s crooner Eddie Fisher died of complications from hip surgery in Berkeley on Wednesday. He was 82. In addition to starring in such films as Butterfield 8, Nothing Lasts Forever, and Bundle of Joy, Fisher was equally famous for his failed marriage, most notably leaving Debbie Reynolds for Elizabeth Taylor. He is survived by his four children, Carrie Fisher, Joely Fisher, Todd Fisher, and Tricia Leigh Fisher. During the last few years of his life, Fisher was living in San Francisco. [Dlisted, LA Times]
