Two years ago, SFist posted this minor scoop on the new arrival of a white alligator at the San Francisco Zoo. Sadly, hours after posting this amazing footage it was taken down. (Word from the California Academy of Science was that a well-known local newspaper giant, whose famous name shall remain nameless, demand its removal so that they could get the scoop.) Today, two years later, the film of Claude arriving at SF Zoo is back up for your viewing pleasure/horror.

So, in honor of the gator's 15th birthday on Wednesday, here is his arrival at the zoo in 2008.
