Today the California Supreme Court refused to listen to D-2 Supervisor Michela Alioto-Pier's "request to review her legal bid to run for re-election in November - a decision that effectively ends her campaign," reports the Chronicle. This comes on the heels of the longtime Supe taking her case to the California Court of Appeal who ruled "3-0 on Aug. 24 that San Francisco's voter-approved term-limits law bars her from seeking another term."
