Following a German tourist's fatal shooting near Union Square, another set of tourists faced danger while visiting a local hot spot. The Ex's Mike Aldax speaks: "A couple spending their second date at Coit Tower last weekend was viciously beaten and robbed by ruthless thugs in yet another act of violence at a tourism hotspot in San Francisco."

What's more, the male victim's sister wasn't too thrilled about the lack of media coverage -- especially when compared to this week's dog stabbing story.

“That’s been in the news repeatedly,” she told the Examiner. “I feel bad for the dog that got stabbed, but I’m sorry … one of my brother’s concerns is that if this is something that goes on, people need to be aware of it.”
