Turn Down Your Music Or Go Deaf, Says New Study of Teens

A new study apparently says that teenagers are losing their hearing at a rate 1/3 higher than in years past, however very little data or backup information is given in this ABC 7 report on the topic.

Instead, reporter Wayne Freedman gets all cranky-old-man on us as he says, "Hearing loss tends to impede social development, as if putting on headphones didn't do that already anyway!" Watch as we get a lot of shots of "young people" wandering around with their iPods and iPhones, and a few pointless man-on-the-street interviews in which teenagers say their hearing is just fine.
