A van carrying members of Early Graves, a San Francisco-based heavy metal band, crashed on I-5 near Medford, Oregon early Monday morning. 28-year-old Makh Daniels, the vocalist for Early Graves, was killed in the crash. According to KTVU, "Daniels was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from a rear cargo area."

Two other people were injured during the crash.

Early Graves was on tour with The Funeral Pyre, which was supposed to run through August 8th. The bands were heading to Reno for their next gig.
