Raw/vegan eatery Café Gratitude is spreading the love down to SoCal, with a new location opening in Hollywood, as Grub Street LA and NBC are reporting. The often odorific (both in food and staff) restaurant will be bringing its gospel of organic, animal-free goodness to Los Angeles vegans, along with all of those crazy menu item names like the "I Am Beautiful" nachos and the "I am Fulfilled" salad.

Prospective waitstaff candidates down yonder should please refer back to this East Bay Express piece from last year exposing how all that culty attitude from the servers stems from the fact that they are forced to attend very cult-like workshops by the Landmark Forum. Managers are basically forced to take seminars and pay for half of them (legal? Probably not), and the manager at the Berkeley branch says that "Café Gratitude wouldn't exist if it wasn't for Landmark."
