Diamond Heights / Shooting: We're not sure what to make of this, but a 21-year-old woman was shot four times yesterday afternoon on the 5300 block of Diamond Heights Blvd., twice in the torso and twice in the legs. She's hospitalized and suffering life-threatening injuries, and all officer Samson Chan has to say at this point is that there were two suspects and this was not random.

SOMA / Car Crash: Two suspects, who were trying to evade arrest last night around 11 p.m. after a police officer tried to pull them over for a mechanical problem with their vehicle, sped through three red lights along Bryant Street before crashing broadside into another car at 5th and Bryant, injuring themselves and the other driver. All are hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, and the drivers of the first vehicle are in custody.
