If a night spent listening to neighborhood weirdos ask endless questions is your bag, then we have just the thing for you. On Wednesday, June 23, District 6 Supervisorial candidates will debate each other to see who replaces Chris Daly.

Your Daly 2.0 candidates are:

Matthew Drake (quality of life!), Glendon “Anna Conda” Hyde (drag queen of note!), James Keys (cares about the homeless and elderly and stuff like that!), Jane Kim (Nancy Pelosi knows who she is!), Jim Meko (guest-blogged for Day Around the Bay!), Theresa Sparks (former president of the San Francisco Police Commission and CEO of Good Vibrations!), and Debra Walker (D6 resident since 1985!)

Melissa Griffin, San Francisco Examiner's political columnist, will moderate the debates. If you can't attend the debate, the prattling will also be streamed live by VidSF, hosted for your viewing pleasure by Beth Spotswood (of CBS 5’s Eye on Blogs and SFGate’s Culture Blog) and Pollo Del Mar.

"I'm looking forward to being the real-life version of a cross between the grumpy old muppets in the theater balcony and Mystery Science Theater 3000," Spotswood explained to SFist.

Anyway, we predict the race come down to Sparks, Walker, Meko and Kim. But then again, who knows? This debate could change everything. Or not. Anyway, it all goes down at the South Beach Yacht Club Community Room (900 - 2nd Street), Wednesday, June 23rd at 5:30 p.m.

Psst: Wine and appetizers will preface the debate, which begins promptly at 6:30.
