We're getting reports of a loud explosion and major siren action in the Financial District. SF Appeal is saying the location is the Le Meridien Hotel at Battery and Sansome.
UPDATE: ABC 7 is reporting via Twitter that the cause of the explosion and smoke was a backfiring generator on the 25th Floor of the hotel. Back to work, people...
