Illuminating Lower 24th Street

If you've alcoholicly stumbled home down the lower half 24th Street during the wee hours of the night, you know that the area needs more than another cafe, ice cream vendor or sandwich shop. It needs more lights. Many of the area's residents agree, at least according to a community meeting yesterday, which, in addition to a brighter street, called for better sidewalks and a "shop local" initiative.
