An absolutely packed week of live shows with LA's noisy quartet Health at Slims Wednesday, Barcelona's electro-pop outfit Delorean at 330 Ritch Thursday and local shoe-gaze favorites Young Prisms at The Independent Sunday.

Our pick for this week, however, is Toronto's Holy Fuck. Easily one of our favorite live acts, the dance-friendly instrumental quartet churns out kraut and dub inspired electronic jams that fall somewhere between the previously profiled Tussle and England's experimental duo Fuck Buttons. And in a manner similar to the aforementioned groups, Holy Fuck does it all the hard way -- while you can expect live bass, drums, synth and an assortment of analog noise makers on stage, you won't find a laptop or sampler in sight. Touring in support of their recently released third full-length Latin, Holy Fuck returns to the Independent Tuesday for what is sure to be a memorable night.

Plenty more solid shows to choose from this week including Tim Kasher's The Good Life at Bottom of the Hill Friday, San Francisco's globe trotting garage-rock duo Sic Alps at the Berkeley Art Museum Friday and the always entertaining Battlehooch at Great American Music Hall Saturday -- as usual, be sure to consult the full show list.
