Fisherman's Wharf just got a little less amusing (if that's possible) on Sunday night. Two pedestrians were struck near the intersection of Jefferson and Taylor a little before 7:20 p.m. The victims were whisked to the hospital. Their condition as of this morning is not yet known.

A witness, according to BCN (via SF Appeal) says someone driving "a white Mercedes-Benz sport utility vehicle" was the vehicle that struck the pedestrians. (Which: ew. We're not one to hate on the aesthetic of a Sports Utility Vehicles. That is, unless they're cream or white. How tacky.)
