Ugh. We hate having to write yet another story about a girl being raped at her school. While class is in session. While school officials are nearby. But we must: There's a $2 million arrest warrant issued for a man (pictured here) wanted on suspicion of "sexually assaulting a young family member on the campus of Sanchez Elementary School on Thursday afternoon."

Pedro Hernandez is alleged to have arrived at the Castro Elementary school (325 Sanchez) yesterday afternoon in order to bring the girl lunch. Instead, it is reported that he took her inside a stairwell and sexually assaulted her. A teacher found him mid-attack. A surveillance camera set up in this area captured the rape.

The crime is gross. Disturbing. Common. And Hernandez is still at large.
