Brian Reid, 60, claims that he was laid off from Google in 2004, at the age of 54, because he was too old. He was told at the time of the layoff that he was not a "cultural fit" for the company. “‘Not a cultural fit’ is a code word for being too old," said Reid's lawyer in a hearing before the California State Supreme Court this morning.
