A Berkeley woman was attacked by a deer yesterday while walking her dogs. Actually, the dogs, Chihuahuas, were attacked first, and the owner, Sarah Lopus, was only kicked by the deer after she crouched down to cover and protect the dogs. She suffered a puncture wound, and one dog suffered some scraped up foot pads.
We are guessing this deer was pissed off about his friend or baby, this other deer, who got shot in an Oakland back yard earlier this week for no apparent reason. He was basically like, "You want to see an unprovoked attack?! I'll show you an unprovoked attack!" [ABC 7 via Berkeleyside]
