A tanker truck filled with 7,000 gallons of coconut oil crashed and flipped over last night around 2 a.m., spilling the stuff all over the roadway and stinking up half of Sacramento like a Cancun happy hour.

As NBC Bay Area tells us, the truck was bound for a Proctor & Gamble plant when the accident occurred along Florin Perkins Road near Belvedere Avenue. The spilled oil filled a nearby ditch and congealed all over the roadway, "making it as slick as an ice rink." Hopefully, by now, they've got this spill under control, and Sacramento's bars can return to their regularly scheduled tequila swilling on this, the high holy day of tequila swilling.
