We haven't so much been covering this story over in Richmond about the sinkhole that appeared along the residential road Via Verde, but now that it's been ongoing and getting worse we'll give it a few column lines. The sinkhole first appeared on April 15th, sucking a car down with it, and now a few more inches dropped off last night.

To SFist, this appears to be more an issue of an improperly fortified road along a hillside that is eroding from underneath, and not a sinkhole, per se, since we always thought there needed to be level ground on all sides for it to be a sinkhole.
