Jason Dunlap, 35, was arrested in connection with a Wednesday afternoon bank robbery in downtown San Francisco. According to police, the incident, which happened at Borel Private Bank and Trust at 433 California Street, involved the suspect "jumping over the counter and held a knife to a female teller’s throat and ordered another female teller to give him all the currency in the drawer." The teller, scared for her life, handed over the money. He then jumped back over the counter and fled the bank.
Dunlap was arrested yesterday at Van Ness and Eddy after police "learned that the car was stolen out of New York and that the description of the driver matched that of the suspect." What's more, Dunlap is suspected in four earlier robberies at SF banks, starting on March 22where he allegedly "held a knife to the throat of a customer at the teller counter while demanding currency."
