Yet another jam packed week of shows with local post-punk outfit Tempo No Tempo at Hemlock Tuesday, the previously profiled Mi Ami at Amnesia Thursday and former SF based dance favorites Lemonade at Rickshaw Stop Friday.

Our pick for this week, however, is geographic and stylistic nomads Liars, who play Slim's Tuesday night. From their dance-punk leaning debut They Threw Us All in a Trench and Stuck a Monument on Top to their most recent oh-so-unclassifiable effort Sisterworld, the perennial critic favorite has consistently proven themselves to be one of the most unique, unpredictable and all around exciting acts in indie rock today. And if their recent SXSW appearance is any indication, fans are in for a real treat tomorrow night -- backed by various members of tour mates Fol Chen, the trio put together a remarkably fluid and crowd-pleasing set list, borrowing and reinterpreting tracks from each era of their storied past. We are a little surprised to see this one has yet to sell out, so strongly encourage you to snag tickets while you still can.

Plenty of other show options this week including Brooklyn's noisy punk duo Japanther at Hemlock Wednesday,
glitchy local electronic duo Lazer Sword at Mighty Thursday and the previously profiled Maus Haus at Bottom of the Hill Saturday.
