About a year's worth of rain fell last night outside SFist HQ, and we even noted at least one lightning flash. Allegedly the Peninsula saw some hail. We have a low-pressure system from the Gulf of Alaska to blame for this, but just think of it as giving our dirty sidewalks a nice long bath before summer starts.
The rain's expected to dribble (and/or pour) on us a bit more today, but sun is coming tomorrow, and they say it'll be over 60 again on Wednesday, so there's that. Hunker down and be glad you don't work on the Sunday Streets team who say they were "purple with cold" out there at the Great Highway.
