We're always sad to hear such stories -- a tipster let us know yesterday that Ceba, an 18-month-old Cattle dog/Pit Bull mix, was stolen from in front of Rainbow Grocery on Tuesday. Ceba's owners are offering a hefty reward for his return.

Ceba, who is very sweet and calm, is medium-sized (43 lbs), white with orange-brown spots and orange-brown head. His ears stick up, and he has cloudy blue eyes due to corneal dystrophy.

Stories like this and the stolen Chorkie from last year would be enough to make us not want to let our dog out of sight (if we had one).
