Kirk Harper and John Quintos, the former owners of 330 Ritch, have combined their love for Lambrettas and Blue Bottle Coffee with a series of cute little Blue Bottle kiosks. Vega, which opened last summer, is located at 1246 Folsom St, and Special Xtra, which opened its garage door last month, is smack in the middle of the Financial District at 46 Minna St.
For those closer to the ballpark, there's also Cento, their original kiosk, located at 360 Ritch St. Polk Street was home to their larger cafe, Lambretta's, a few years back, which also served sandwiches, but they weren't able to obtain a sit-down food license and quickly shut down, much to the disappointment of Polk Gulch/Nob Hill residents.
All locations also serve yummy pastries and Red Blossom loose tea, and we hear the New Orleans-style iced coffee is delish.
