Glen Park Rash of Violent Robberies

Three separate violent robberies occurred in Glen Park on Tuesday night, all possibly committed by the same suspects. First, three men in a dark car ran down a bicyclist and stole his messenger bag near the Glen Park BART Station Tuesday night. Happening at little before 7:15 p.m., a 44-year-old man, who was riding down Arlington Street, was hit by a "dark hatchback" from behind. The Examiner reports that the three men got out of the car, took his bag, fought with the victim, and took off.

Later, at around 7:25, a man walking down the 300 block of Chenery felt someone wrap a metal chain around his mouth from behind. According to the Ingelside Station letter, "the suspects then took the victims property and fled on foot before getting into a dark sedan. The suspects were each described as African-American males, one possibly wearing a flannel shirt and the other possibly wearing a white shirt."

And finally, at around 8:30 pm, a was walking home from the Glen Park BART station saw a man run towards him and corner him into a dark location. "The suspect then choked the victim momentarily and then took the victim’s property." The hooligan then fled the scene in a dark blue car.
