On Saturday, February 13 from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., many, many San Francisco and Bay Area bloggers will join together to defeat Prop 8 and restore marriage equality by canvassing. (Which is to say, visiting neighborhoods that voted majority Yes on 8, going door to door and talk to people about marriage equality.) But you don't have to be a socially-inept online writer to help fight for civil rights. Anyone can join! And that anyone could be you.

According to Equality California, "[t]he canvass is a chance to turn a few hours of easy work into a huge contribution to the fight for equality - as well as learn more about the work that is being done to restore marriage equality, and meet and mingle with fellow bloggers."

It's a great chance to get out there and meet fellow gays in a non-disco setting. Plus, you might get to wear sky blue t-shirts to boot!
