Yay! It's the 80s again! And not just in fashion. The historic Hibernia Bank building at Jones and Market, built in 1892, got tagged in a big way in the last couple of weeks. The building has been boarded up and vacant since 2000, when the Tenderloin Police Station moved out of the premises — the SFPD were tenants of the property after the bank moved out in 1991 — and though it was sold to Dolmen Property Group back in 2008 with some talk of bringing it up to code for business or retail tenants, nothing has come of the plans and it's still sealed tight.
