As heavy showers continue to molest the Bay Area, wind gusts could reach 60 mph in some places. The high winds are expected to last until noon today.
Some 29,000 are currently without power, mainly in the South and East Bay. And the San Francisco Zoo decided to shut down for the day "because of broken tree limbs and flooding."
There's an offramp blocked in Treasure Island. "A tree has fallen onto the Treasure Island off-ramp from eastbound Interstate Highway 80 on the Bay Bridge," according to reports.
Also plus, the Alameda/Oakland Ferry suspended operations this morning, claiming "severe sea conditions." Though a temporary break in the storms have eased flood threats.
