Reality TV Character Accused Of SF Murder

Turns out VH1's 2007 I Love New York 2 was more beneficial to society than originally thought. One of the contestants, Jamal Trulove, allegedly shot a man in Visitacion Valley shortly after taping the show. On the show, Trulove went by the rap name "Milliown" and was booted in the first episode for starting a fight. When I Love New York 2 aired in October 2007, an eyewitness to the murder recognized him and was able to confirm his identity to the San Francisco police. The police caught up with him a year ago in Monterey. Jury selection is currently underway. [Amy Crocker]
