Around 100-plus people are protesting outside San Francisco's federal courthouse as the first federal trial for California’s gay marriage ban begins.
"Most of the demonstrators are gay marriage supporters, who took turns Monday addressing the crowd with a microphone," reports Associated Press. "They support the overturning of Proposition 8, a voter-approved law that limits marriage to one man and one woman."
There are somewhere around a dozen anti-gay marriage ilk "quietly held signs demanding the ban remain in place."
Here are some images from the scene outside the courthouse today.
