The San Francisco Mime Troupe aren't your every day mimes, as many of you know. They're a posse of political satirists that mimic while pointing out life's more absurd qualities. You may have caught the Mime Troupe performing in almost every SF location from Dolores Park to the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts.

And speaking of YBCA, this Thursday the SF Mime Troupe are gathering there once again to celebrate their 50th Anniversary Exhibition Birthday Bash. This free event will feature the SFMT's performance of Henrik Ibsen's satire, Ghosts. This staging will also feature the original SFMT cast who worked on the play together in 1981.

Expect cheeky, leftist fun at this event, which is sure to not only make you laugh, but don't be surprised if you leave the YBCA sporting newfound political purpose.
