The man who stabbed a woman on a J-Church train yesterday morning fits the profile of the guy who resembles the suspect sought in the knife attack of an 11-year-old boy on a Muni bus in September.

The woman, a SFSU student/new SF resident frresh from Portland, has been identified as Rachel Brown, who told authorities she was "asleep before she was attacked." Yesterday's incident came a few months after 11-year-old Hatim Mansori was knifed back in September.

Oh, and here's a sketch of the guy. He's described as "a 25- to 40-year-old black man, about 6 feet tall with a full beard and a 'bad body odor.'" He also sports a black sweatshirt, a black jacket over the sweatshirt, and a black do-rag.

Looks like the city of San Francisco could have a serial attacker on its hands. Beware of the Muni Stabber (eh?!), folks.

Update: The stab victim, who is doing very well, described her attack to CBS 5. It seems Brown was stabbed twice during the attack. "I had fallen asleep because I was feeling ill with a cold," said Brown, "and just fallen asleep and waking up to the feeling that someone punched me in my side 2 times and I woke up with a shock and saw this guy running off the train."
