This is getting preposterous. And frightening. Today a woman was stabbed on the J-Church. SF Chron reports:
Today's stabbing happened at 10:40 a.m. on the outbound J-Church at Church and Market streets. The 24-year-old victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital, where she was in stable condition with a non-life-threatening wound to the left side of her abdomen, authorities said. Her name was not released.
The Chon goes on to say that the "assailant had been seated near the woman and stabbed her, without saying anything and apparently without provocation." This attack is also strikingly similar to the attack in September where 11-year-old Hatin Mansori was stabbed on the Muni 49 Line near 19th Street and Mission Streets.
The suspect is reported to be a "6-foot-tall, bearded African American man in his 30s with a black sweater, a black jacket a black do-rag," Police spokesman Sgt. Wilfred Williams tells the Chron. "He had strong body odor."
No word yet if today's stabbing was caught on Muni surveillance video.
