Some things only come along every so often, like say, Thanksgiving weekend. Even with the onset of turkey feasts, pie, yams n’ stuffing, not everything about Thanksgiving can be exciting. There’s hauling ass to your parents’ house, sitting through the dramarama of family conversation, oh and not to mention feeling like an adolescent again as the ‘rents discuss your weight and why, just why, you chose writing as a career. (Is this just us?) Brood not, O artsy one, and dance your cares away at Fringe’s “Night Before Thanksgiving” dance party!

Held at Madrone Art Bar every last Wednesday of the month, Fringe DJs play a healthy mix of indie dance pop, electronica and indie power pop music videos combined with “special effects.” Tonight Fringe is declaring “No work the next day, apple pie on the way! Let's celebrate thanksgiving early at the best party in San Francisco!” DJ subOctave and DJ Blondie K will be behind the decks spinning everything from Passion Pit to the New Young Pony Club. There’s no cover tonight, which is even more of an excuse to hit the dance floor.
