FILM: San Francisco Cinematheque presents their season opener, a silent film from 1970 entitled Sistiaga: ere erera baleibu icik subua aruaren, in which Basque abstract artist José Antonio Sistiaga painted directly onto the film with homemade inks. '80s Los Angeles punk/post-rock band Savage Republic have reunited and will be performing a live score in accompaniment with the film.
