MUSIC: Master trumpet player Herb Alpert, of the delightfully cheesy Sergio Mendes and Tijuana Brass fame, and his wife, singer Lani Hall will perform an intimate night of American and Brazilian jazz featuring Bill Cantos (piano), Michael Shapiro (drums), and Hussain Jiffrey (bass).

FILM/MUSIC: The 6th Biennial San Francisco Sex Worker Film, Art and Music Festival, which runs through Sunday, presents their first-ever Whore-A-Palooza. There will be a screening of four short and feature-length films, along with live music and performances and Stripper Karaoke. DANCE: Learn vintage swing at the Queer Jitterbugs Swing Variety Series, a four-week class that starts the first Tuesday of every month. You don't need a partner or experience, and mixed ages and genders are welcome. No pre-registration required. (You can still drop in on the second Tuesday if you miss the first.) Balboa, Shag, Lindy, Charleston, East Coast and West Coast will all be covered.
