BERKELEY-OAKLAND/SATURDAY: Three people died after a murder and car chase through the East Bay Saturday night. "It all started at 6:35 p.m. when Berkeley Police responded to reports of gunfire near Allston Way and 10th Street in West Berkeley," according to reports, where offices found an unidentified male suffering from 10 gunshot wounds. He later died. Police then chased the kmurder suspects up to North Oakland, where the they crashed their Cadillac "into two other vehicles at the corner of Aileen Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Way -- killing two innocent bystanders, one in a car, and one who was walking down the sidewalk." A 26-year-old Sunnyvale man, whose Mazda got caught up in the crash, died as well.
The driver of the Cadillac, a 22-year-old San Leandro man, and "another suspect" were taken into custody.
HUNTER'S POINT/SUNDAY: Police are looking for a the suspect who "shot a male victim multiple times in the city's Bayview-Hunters Point District in broad daylight Saturday morning." The victim was sent to SF General. His condition is not yet known.
EXCELSIOR/FRIDAY: An unidentified 19-year-old man was shot by SFPD officers during a shootout at Beacon gas station. It seems the shooting victim was allegedly involved in two other shootings in the 5000 block of Mission Street earlier that night. Occuring a little before midnight, SFPD Sgt. Lyn Tomioka tried to explain it, saying, "There was a hip-hop event that just got overcrowded and had been shut down."
