MOVIE: Did you think SFist would pass up an opportunity to post the above scene from the Palm D'Or winning All That Jazz? Did you really think we'd pass up a chance to show Ann Reinking at her best? Did you think we wouldn't share with you a song asking you to axe the amphetamines? Silly you. That said, be sure to check tonight's "1969-1983: A Fosse Odyssey," featuring Fosse's autopbiopic, All That Jazz (1979), and the horrific tale of murdered Playboy centerfold Dorothy Stratten in Star 80 (1983).

7 p.m. (All That Jazz) & 9:40 p.m. (Star 80) // Castro Theatre (Castro & Market) // $9.50

MUSIC: Check out “The Changing Face of Laos Through Its Music” over on Valencia Street. Artist Todd Sanchioni traveled throughout Laos searching for musicians, photographing them with a Mamiya 6x7 and a 35mm camera, and recording their sounds. Come hear the recorded sounds of some of the country's most beloved bands -- from "the traditional Isan sounds of Mr. Khamsuan, and the Hmong “qeej” player in the mountains, to “The Cells” (the most popular rock-and-roll band in Laos), and the hip-hip group known as L.O.G. (Laos Original Gangstas)." Learn more about the exhibition here.
