DIY Drag Meets 'The Swan': Tiara Sensation at The Stud

For six months now there's been a little mixed party happening every Monday night at The Stud featuring do-it-yourself tiaras, Project Runway-style 2-hour design competitions, and a craft table complete with glue guns. It's called Tiara Sensation, and along with DJ Downey hostess Vivienne ForeverMore has been turning out fresh themes each week including Bathhouse Betty (a tribute to the Continental Baths days of Bette Midler) and the Pretty Pretty Princess Party. Tonight, with guest hostess Turleen, there will be a new competition based on horrifying reality makeover show The Swan, in which drag newbies get transformed from hairy boys into pretty ladies. As the invitation says, "Come witness the magic of Kryolan paint stick on the dance floor." 9th & Harrison, 10PM, Free.
